Metal Wall Systems

A2MG is a custom fabrication and turnkey installation company, serving the commercial, health, retail and industrial construction industry. Our products are created in accordance with design specifications that are unique to each project with which we are involved. Our products are used on both the exterior and interior of the building, depending on the specific need.

 

Composite Plate Panel

Description:

Factory formed sheets comprised of two very thin skins of aluminum with a solid composite or honeycomb core (various core materials) Sheet is custom shop fabricated utilizing a variety of panel joints. Wet joint or dry joint system is available.

Sheet Thickness:

4mm to 6mm (.125" to .187")
Standard Widths: Custom fabricated up to 60"
System Thickness:
1/2" to 3" (1-1/2" common)
Panel Lengths:
Custom fabricated up to 20'
Special Shapes: Plate systems are utilized for flatness. This panel can also be made on a  radius to form curved wall or column covers.
Materials: This panel can be fabricated from almost any metal type. Most common is coil painted aluminum.
Sub-framing Requirements:
This panel can be installed over a solid substrate or opening framing. Metal studs at 24" o/c. max is typical. Engineering of the system should be required.

 


Concealed Fastener Panel

Description:

Factory formed panel often flat metal skin that utilizes tongue & groove joints. Panel is attached with concealed mechanical fasteners within the caulked panel joint.

Standard Gauges:

26 gauge through 18 gauge
Standard Widths: 12" to 24" (12" most common)
System Thickness:
1" to 1-1/2" (1-1/2" most common)
Standard Panel Lengths:
Up to 30' long. (Special lengths are available, contact us.)
Special Shapes: Limited ability. This panel is vertical most often.
Materials:
This panel can be fabricated from almost any metal type. Most common is coil painted steel.
Sub-framing Requirements: This panel can be installed over a solid substrate or opening framing. Please inquire for load span charts in reference to your project.

 


Exposed Fastener Panel

Description:

Factory formed panel that utilizes lap joints. Panel is attached with mechanical fasteners through the face of the panel. Exposed fasteners typically finished to match with metal washers lined with rubber.

Sheet Thickness:

26 gauge through 18 gauge
Standard Widths: 12" to 42" (36" most common)
System Thickness:
1" to 4" (1-1/2" most common)
Standard Panel Lengths:
Up to 40' long. (Special lengths are available, contact us.)
Special Shapes: Some panels can be factory curved for radius panels. This panel can be installed vertically or horizontally.
Materials:
This panel can be fabricated from almost any metal type. Most common is coil painted steel.
Sub-framing Requirements: This panel is installed over a structural framing system. Please inquire for load span charts in reference to your project.



Factory Insulated

BattenSeam

Description:

Factory insulated panel consisting of an exterior metal skin, an insulated core (polyisocyanurate) and an interior metal skin with tongue & groove type interlocking joints. Panel is attached with mechanical fasteners through a panel clip that is concealed within the panel joint.

Standard Sheet Thickness:

Exterior Skin: 26 gauge through 20 gauge
Interior Skin: 26 gauge though 20 gauge.
Standard Widths:
24", 30" & 36" modules most common.
(Custom width available.)
Panel Thickness:
Varies (2" most common)
Standard Panel Lengths:
Up to 37' long. (Special lengths can be made, contact us.)
Special Shapes: Relief in the face of the panel is available to provide contour. This panel can be factory curved for radius panels. Integral window systems are available with this system. This panel can be installed vertically or horizontally.
Materials: Mainly limited to coil painted steel, however special applications are available. Please inquire.
Sub-framing Requirements: This panel is installed over a structural framing system. Please inquire for load span charts in reference to your project.

 


Flat Seam

Description:

Custom form panel with flat hook seams on all sides. Seam clips typically spaced 12" to 24" o/c. along two edges. Adjoining panel engages into female pocket.

Standard Gauges:

26 gauge through 20 gauge
(24 gauge & 22 gauge most common)
Standard Widths:
Shop fabricated to desired width
(12" to 36" most common)
Standard Panel Lengths:
Shop fabricated to desired lengths
(24" to 48" most common)
Special Shapes: Custom shop fabricated to your desired shape (rectangular most common). This panel can be formed to the contour of your building skin. Complex shapes most achievable with this panel type.
Materials:
This panel can be fabricated from almost any metal type. The most common are copper, zinc and stainless steel.
Sub-framing Requirements:
A solid substrate is required for this panel. Typically installed over a nailable substrate with a vapor barrier.

 


Solid Plate Panel

Description:

Shop fabricated system utilizing a solid sheet of metal. Panel is custom shop fabricated utilizing a variety of joints. Wet joint or dry joint system is available.

Sheet Thickness:

125" to .250"
Standard Widths:
Custom fabricated up to 60"
System Thickness:
1/2" to 3" (1-1/2" common)
Standard Panel Lengths:
Custom fabricated up to 12' (special length may be achievable)
Special Shapes: Plate systems are utilized for flatness. This panel can also be made on a  radius to form curved wall or column covers.
Materials:
This panel can be fabricated from almost any metal type. Most common mill finish aluminum and post painted or anodized.
Sub-framing Requirements:
This panel can be installed over a solid substrate or opening framing. Metal studs at 24" o/c. max is typical. Engineering of the system should be required.
