Ornamental Metal

A2MG is a custom fabrication and turnkey installation company, serving the commercial, health, retail and industrial construction industry. Our products are created in accordance with design specifications that are unique to each project with which we are involved. Our products are used on both the exterior and interior of the building, depending on the specific need.

Column & Beam Covers


*Description:*	Fabricated metal covering which creates an ornamental feature to enhance building appeal or protect a framing system from outside corrosion. Typically designed to fasten by concealed clip system on metal stud framing which is attached to structural steel or concrete.
*Standard Gauges:*	Non Ferrous Metal - .063 through .190 (.090 & .125 most common) Ferrous Metal - 18 gauge through 10 gauge (18 gauge & 16 gauge most common)
*Standard Widths:*	Custom fabricated to fit any size (12" to 36" most common size)
*Standard Height:*	Custom fabricated to fit any length/height (8' to 13' most common) A2MG can fabricate column covers without horizontal seams/joints up to 13' continuous.
*Standard Joints:*	Hair line seam to typically 6" to 10" horizontal reveals and Vertical Joints are from butt joints to 2" reveals.
*Special Shapes:*	Round, square, octagonal or anything in between we can fabricate.
*Materials:*	Non Ferrous Metal - Aluminum, copper all types of materials are used. Ferrous Metal - Stainless Steel, Cold Rolled Steel and Zinc are just a few of the option available.
*Finishes:*	Painted, Anodized, Bead Blasted or Mill Finish are the most typical.
*Framing Requirements:*	Metal Stud or Structural Steel Framing, Concrete or drywall.

Grilles & Louvers


*Description:*	Grilles are primarily used to add "architectural / ornamental" features to any building. Wrought Iron or tube steel and aluminum are typically used for the rigidity they have for stiffness and integrity. Fixed Architectural Louvers can be fabricated using extruded aluminum blades or shop fabricated from flat sheet aluminum steel, copper or any other type flat sheet metal.
*Standard Gauges:*	Would be determined based on the building feature requirements.
*Standard Widths:*	Any size or style would be custom made to fit your needs.
*Special Shapes:*	Square, Straight or curved. All can be fabricated to fit your needs.
*Materials:*	Grilles use wrought Iron or tube steel and aluminum are typically used for the rigidity they have for stiffness and integrity. Fabricated items can be painted, anodized or left in their own natural pigment. Louvers can be fabricated using extruded aluminum blades or shop fabricated from flat sheet aluminum steel, copper or any other type flat sheet metal.
*Framing Requirements:*	Typically the use of a metal stud or steel perimeter frame is required. Internal framing for grilles and louvers are fabricated into the system itself, normally.

Handrails


*Description:*	Fabricated piping or tubing used for stairs, balconies, parking garages and other open safety areas. They are from basic style to lush glass panels masterpieces.
*Standard Gauges:*	1/16" through wall thickness.
*Standard Shape:*	Everything can be custom fabricated to fit your needs. Always fabricated with city, state and federal codes in mind.
*Standard Height:*	Custom sized meet safety/design aspects. (36" to 42" top rails most common)
*Standard Joints:*	Hair Line seams with set screw backup or welded and polished.
*Special Shapes:*	Round, Square, octagonal or anything in between, we can fabricate.
*Materials:*	Non Ferrous Metal - Aluminum, copper all types of materials are used. Ferrous Metal - Stainless Steel and Cold Rolled Steel are just a few of the option available.
*Finishes:*	Painted, Anodized, Bead Blasted or Mill Finish are the most typical.
*Secured Connections:*	Typically into concrete by core drilling and grout finishing.

Sculpture

*Description:*	These are similar to displays in that they represent a person's idea based on what they are trying to communicate by way of using metals. We have fabricated hundreds of "one of a kind" type items. Tree stands, lights brackets, fountains, metal imbeds and just about anything you can dream up.
*Standard Gauges:*	None, anything can be fabricated.
*Standard Widths:*	None, anything can be fabricated.
*Standard Height:*	None, anything can be fabricated.
*Standard Joints:*	None, anything can be fabricated.
*Special Shapes:*	None, anything can be fabricated.
*Materials:*	Materials need to be selected based on structural performance, features and compatibility.
*Finishes:*	Depends on metal types selected.
*Secured Connections:*	Depends on the structural capacity, ie: hanging, sitting, etc.

Signage


*Description:*	Lettering, Numbering, Perforated Logos, all types of signage for companies and their features.
*Standard Gauges:*	None, anything can be fabricated.
